If you don't want to risk breaking your Mac, buy a desktop. That being said, this paired with a MacBook Pro armor case thing should be enough for everyday wear and tear.
The faux fur is welcome, and the seams and overall fit are perfect if you have a case on. If the MacBook is naked there's a little wiggle room, but its not a rubber, so why does everyone need a perfect glove fit? DO NOT for any reason use the front zipper pocket for anything except small sheets of paper. So basically, don't use it. It will end up denting your mac if it drops flat on that side. Other than that, this is tailored for the MacBook Pro, and very adequate.
