Sony Icd Sx46 Drivers For Mac
I have a Sony IC Voice Recorder (ICD-SX46) that I am unable to find a driver for. I have looked on Sony's website (even contacted customer support, with no response) as well as on the internet. Sony's driver is only compatible with XP and Vista, I am running Windows 10. If anyone could assist me with this it would be greatly appreciated!:) Would any other manufacturers software or any other voice recording driver possibly be compatible?
Thanks a bunch in advance and have a wonderful day:). This worked for the ICD-PX720 in Windows 10. Might work for you. Install the Voice Editor from the original CD. On that CD there is a Folder called Setup. Inside that folder is win2kdriver folder.
Go into that folder and right click Sony Recorderdriver. Go to properties. Click the Compatibility Tab and set it for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) 5. Now double click the Sony Recorderdriver setup file. (it'll take a bit to install) 6. Go to you Device Manager and to your voice recorder. Right Click and go to update/install Driver.
Click Browse Computer for driver. In the Field type C: 9. It works now! If you don't have the original CD message me.
We'll figure it out. Might work if you download the update file from Sony and do the compatibility change to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) as well, haven't tried that. I read Benjamin's account and was so happy that there was a simple fix to this, but instead of going to the CD, I went to the Sony folder on my C drive and found a folder for drivers and installed it. Windows 10 said it wasn't compatible, but gave me the option of installing it with compatibility mode or something like that, you'll recognize it when they offer a choice one is with the word compatibility.

Nothing happens. I give up the DVE software and istall the 'Sound Organizer', as told by Sony. It doesn´t have the driver.
I plug the recorder on PC and I go to 'Device Manager'. Ok, IT´S THERE! So as the yellow '!' , saying - THERE´S NO DRIVER FOR IT! Bring me the Sony IC Recorder (PX) Driver.
